Independent Telecom Consulting:

This client selected a multi-cloud option for their 2.0 roll-out, opting for another Gartner Magic Quadrant leader. However, they required the ability to connect their remote offices to each Cloud Service Provider (CSP). 

Macronet Services helped evaluate multiple providers across the destined Cloud Access Point of this new provider, connecting to their existing SD-WAN. Macronet designed, negotiated, and oversaw the implementation of services in under 30 days. The customer was able to realize a faster deployment and reduced OPEX migrating to this multi-cloud solution.

Telecom Consulting engagements generally involve our team evaluating the current infrastructure, contracts, and costs across all providers. Macronet does not cast judgment on decisions made in prior years as our goal is to help reduce OPEX while enhancing functionality.

Examples studies we conduct include:

This Tech Manufacturing customer wanted to Audit their contracts & inventory to prevent miss-billing with their vendor carriers. They contacted Macronet Services for a Telecom Expense Management Quote requesting a SaaS option.

Macronet determined immediately a SaaS solution would not be required saving the customers Opex costs not required. Instead, and a short 2-hour assessment of their invoMany organizations need to ensure they are not over paying their carrier bills. Now to Covid-19, companies want to keep less office locations open & don’t know where to start with their contracts & vendors to reduce their architecture.

We have 3 simple options for customers or offer a hybrid approach using a SaaS solution with consulting.

1. Perform an audit of carriers, look for cost recovery and correct existing billing.

2. Implement a SaaS Telecom Expense Management solution to correct issues.

3. Provide monthly consulting hours through a Statement of Work (SOW)

Result: The Macronet Services costs typically is more than recovered due to the monthly overspend.
